This is your chance to play an integral part in the success and growth of our Schools Triathlon series.
Our Volunteer Event Ambassadors are vital in enabling us to reach out to more schools and create a network of support within the local community.
Whether this is raising awareness of the work Restless Development does, recruiting volunteers for the triathlons or delivering a school assembly, this role will help us to make sure each year is even bigger and better than the last.

As an Ambassador you could help by supporting the Schools Triathlon team to;
• Reach out to potential new participating schools
• Deliver assemblies to participating schools inviting them to sign up for the event
• Promote and recruit volunteers for event day
• Connect with your community to help find local sponsors for the event
• Attend event day to support with event delivery
• Or help us to raise awareness of Restless Development in the community by hosting talks or fundraising events.
The beauty of this role is that you can choose an area that interests you the most and fit it around your day to day life.
• Be part of a supportive community of Team Restless Volunteers as we grow the Schools Triathlon series together.
• Receive guidance and training from our experienced Events Team.
• Opportunities to represent us at wider events in your local area.

• Develop skills such as networking, speaking in public and events.
• A Restless Development t-shirt to wear with pride at events and talks.
• An invitation to our end-of-year thank you party, celebrating the hard work and dedication from everyone involved.
• Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed with prior agreement from a member of staff and in line with our policies.
• A letter of recommendation or references upon request.
We are looking for Volunteer Event Ambassadors for each Triathlon who are able to offer their time to support our work and represent Restless Development. The role is a flexible time commitment and can fit around your day to day life.
Volunteers will be at the heart of our efforts to expand the event series, you’ll need to feel comfortable delivering presentations to school children about our work and happy to approach people to make new connections within the community. You’ll also play a key role on event day in helping to ensure the event runs smoothly.
We’ll provide you with training so that you feel confident in this role and you’ll have a dedicated point of contact in the School Triathlon Team who will be there to support you throughout.
