Filming and Photography

•    We’ll be taking photos and filming all around the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon.
•    Some photos or film clips will be used in the future to help us promote Knight Frank Schools Triathlon and the work of Restless Development.
•    Photography and filming will also be used by the host school in publications, on the school website and on their social media platforms.
•    If you would prefer for your child to not appear in images used for these purposes please let us know on the day when you register.
•    We’ll ask anyone not wishing to appear in photos or film to wear an additional wristband (red) as well as a sticker on their bib. This means that although we can’t guarantee your child’s picture won’t be taken, we’ll ensure those photos or film clips are not used.
•    These wristbands and stickers will be available for collection from the registration stand.

British Triathlon Top Tips for your triathlon:
Before:
  1. Build up your training gradually. It's not about being the best or the fastest, you just want to have a go and feel comfortable doing it so build up your training gradually and most importantly – enjoy it!
  2. Work with your team mates. Don't feel you have to train or fundraise alone, this is a team event so work with your team-mates and experience it all together!
  3. Make a plan. Training plans can be really helpful to keep you motivated and get you ready for your triathlon!
During: Triathlon tips for race day:
  1. Allow yourself plenty of time. Arrive at least an hour before your start time to collect your race pack, rack your bike and get sorted. Also, don’t feel you have to rush the course, take all the time you need!
  2. Listen to your Schools Triathlon volunteers. There are many volunteers stationed around the race course in red T-shirts who will help you throughout the event.
  3. Enjoy it! Have a go, get your family and friends to come along and support you and have some fun with your team mates. This is by far the most important thing!
After: You've completed the Schools Triathlon!
  1. Get a picture! Head to the winners podium with your teammates and family to get a photo and enjoy the moment!

  2. Celebrate with your family and friends! You've just completed your triathlon! Make sure you take some time to celebrate with all your supporters.

  3. Look into more triathlons...If you really enjoyed taking part in the Schools Triathlon head to the British Triathlon website to find out more about other events you could take part in!
