We’ve created the #TriThisAtHome challenge to help our triathletes stay fit, stay happy and stay connected with their friends. The fun activity will boost their mental well-being and raise vital funds for Restless Development and your school’s chosen charity - delivering all the best bits about the Schools Triathlon you know and love straight to your home! Call us Tri-liver-roo if you must!
Triathletes can take part in the challenge when it’s best for them and as often as they like. You can do it individually, or as a team over the phone or video call. Teams can have fun comparing their distances and there will be a scoreboard for team distances - this is still very much a team challenge. It is really exciting and we know they won’t want to miss out!
We’ll soon launch our new app as well, with lots of additional fun features so participants can track their team progress, plus virtual medals and trophies to win along the way to keep them motivated.
Restless Development relies on the hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of vital income raised by our amazing triathletes each year to deliver essential projects across Africa and Asia - working with young leaders to change lives for the better. Your support has helped young people like Millicent, a 17-year-old girl, to thrive in a leadership role within her community, that otherwise wouldn’t have been possible due to the stigma faced around gender.
Young people need your support now more than ever to tackle and respond to this global health crisis. COVID-19 is a worldwide pandemic. Imagine trying to self isolate if you don't have a home, or trying to wash your hands if you don't have access to clean water. At Restless Development we are redirecting almost all of our resources, including the money you and your child raises for taking part in the Schools Triathlon, to this fight.
By taking part and raising the £100 target, you will be part of the fight to stop the spread and save lives. Find out more about Restless Development.
We will send medals to everyone and fundraising certificates to those who raise above the £50 minimum. These will be delivered to your school as soon as they re-open.
